For everyone that is in possession of the very capable
Juniper MAG Remote Access solution, things have changed. You may, or may not be
aware that the Junos Pulse Security business has been bought by a private
equity firm called Pulse Secure.
Pulse Secure now has three products that they will be
developing and enhancing over the coming years.
1. Pulse Client and Connect Secure
This is the same as the current Junos Pulse Secure Access solution, with
the web based SSL portal that gives secure access to a company’s internal
resources. It also contains the Junos
Pulse Client, which offers a Full Network Tunnel.
2. NAC
This is Network Access Control feature that can be used for internal NAC.
3. Pulse Mobile Workspace
This is a new product that will allow MDM type functionality via a cloud
portal, allowing device management and a dedicated secure workspace on a host
of mobile devices.
In addition to these three products, there is also talk of a dedicated
central management platform which will allow the management of multiple boxes,
giving greater visibility and functionality to the administrator.
Having spoken to Pulse Secure it really does seem that they are
passionate about the portfolio and are looking to take their brand forward with
the help of the stable and feature-rich Junos platform. Something, which most
people would agree, Juniper were not doing for the last couple of years while
Pulse was still under their belt.

Secure then this is their website or
